1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern the use of the Camex website (the “Website”) and the services available through it (the “Services”). The Website and Services are collectively called the “Products”. Users should read these Terms before using the Products.

These Terms establish a legal agreement between Camex and each user who registers to use the Products. Use is permitted only where the user agrees to enter into a binding contract with Camex and complies with these Terms and all applicable laws, rules and regulations. Anyone who does not agree to these Terms or the Privacy Policy must stop using the Products.

Information and technical support are available at [email protected].

Camex may change the Products at its sole discretion, including temporarily or permanently discontinuing a Product or feature for an individual user or all users. Without liability to users, Camex may set usage and storage limits, remove Content or refuse its distribution, restrict its visibility or distribution, suspend or terminate users, and reclaim usernames. Fees may apply to some Products or features. Paying for or using them constitutes agreement to any additional applicable terms.

Camex may amend, supplement or replace these Terms as described in Section 13.5. These Terms were last updated on September 16, 2026.

2. Eligibility

Access to the Products is limited to people aged eighteen (18) or older who have the legal capacity and authority to enter into a binding agreement with Camex and are not prohibited from using the Products by applicable law.

The Products must not be used by anyone who:

  • Is under eighteen (18), lacks legal capacity or is otherwise prohibited from access by the laws of their country of residence.
  • Has been convicted of a sex offence, or accused or convicted of a crime involving human trafficking or modern slavery.
  • Is located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country.
  • Appears on a U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Registration, access or use that fails to meet these requirements is unauthorised, unlicensed and a breach of these Terms. Each user represents and warrants that they can enter into and comply with the obligations, representations and warranties in these Terms.

If Camex believes a user is ineligible, it may terminate the account, delete Content or information posted by that user, and prohibit access to any or all of the Products.

3. The Website and Services

Camex helps people around the world connect in real time and have meaningful conversations.

3.1. Connections and communication

Camex helps users find and connect with people and friends across its platforms. Available data is used to personalise relevant connections and conversations. The technology supports communication and sharing through live video, chat, text, photos, interests, music and videos.

3.2. Research and development

Camex researches, develops and tests its Products and new services, including by analysing usage. This work includes artificial intelligence, machine learning and augmented reality technologies intended to improve the Products and their safety, including the detection and removal of illegal content.

3.3. Safety and global operation

Technical systems and dedicated teams help Camex detect misuse. When improper content or conduct is identified, Camex may block or disable accounts, take other action, and share data with affiliates and third parties. Global operation involves storing and distributing data worldwide, including outside a user's country of residence, through infrastructure supported by affiliates and third parties.

3.4. Personal devices

Each user warrants that they own or have the legal right to control the computer or mobile device used to access the Website (the “Device”). Users must ensure that anyone they permit to use the Products complies with these Terms.

3.5. Product changes and updates

Camex may add features or change the Products to improve functionality or performance, accommodate operating system changes or address security issues. Access to new features, modifications or versions may require acceptance of updated Terms.

The Website and its features may be updated or upgraded automatically. Users agree that their Devices may automatically request or receive these changes when accessing the Website. Camex has no obligation to provide additional features, updates, support, maintenance or later versions of the Products.

3.6. Emergency services

The Products do not replace a telephone service and are not designed for emergency calls to hospitals, law enforcement, medical care providers, public safety answering points or other emergency services (“Emergency Services”). Users acknowledge that:

  • Camex is not required to provide access to Emergency Services under applicable local or national laws, rules or regulations.
  • Each user is responsible for obtaining a separate mobile or fixed-line telephone service that provides access to Emergency Services.
  • Camex cannot serve as a replacement for a primary telephone service.

3.7. Unauthorised use

Camex may take lawful steps to prevent unauthorised use, including implementing technological barriers, using IP mapping and contacting a user's mobile carrier or Device manufacturer. Personal data processed for these purposes is handled under the Privacy Policy.

4. Intellectual property

4.1. Ownership

Copyright laws and other intellectual property laws and treaties protect the Products. The Products contain Camex's trade secrets and confidential and proprietary information. Users agree to take all necessary steps to preserve the confidentiality of that information.

Camex or its licensors own all rights, including intellectual property rights, in the Products, their documentation, and all releases, modifications and enhancements. Access to the Website is granted under a licence and does not transfer ownership. Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, users acquire no rights, title or interest in the Products and may not modify, copy, rent, lease, lend, sell, distribute or create derivative works from them. No intellectual property licence is implied, and all rights not expressly granted are reserved.

4.2. Licence grants

Subject to compliance with these Terms, Camex grants each user a personal, limited, non-commercial, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, non-assignable and revocable licence to access and use the Website on a personal Device. The licence permits only personal use of the Website and other websites that Camex expressly authorises the user to access through it.

Submitting, posting or displaying Content through the Products grants Camex a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence, with the right to sublicense, to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display and distribute that Content. The licence applies to all media and distribution methods, whether currently known or developed later. It includes curating, transforming and translating Content and making it available to others who may do the same.

This licence enables Camex to provide, promote and improve the Products. It also permits Camex to make Content available to other users, companies, organisations or individuals for broadcast, distribution, promotion or publication through other media and services, subject to Camex's terms for those uses. No payment is due for these uses. Users agree that access to and use of the Products is sufficient compensation for the Content and rights granted. The deletion and revocation provisions in Section 5.2 also apply.

4.3. Licence restrictions

Unless expressly permitted by applicable law, users must not perform, arrange or allow any of the following, directly or indirectly:

  • Copy, modify, adapt, translate, perform, communicate to the public, distribute or create derivative works from the Website or Services, including by incorporating them into a collection.
  • Sublicense, sublease, lease, lend, assign, sell, license, distribute, rent, export, re-export or grant other rights in the Website or Services. Any attempted transfer of these rights is void.
  • Decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer or attempt to reconstruct, identify or discover the Products' source code, underlying ideas, interface techniques, databases or algorithms.
  • Remove, conceal or alter copyright or other proprietary notices associated with the Products.
  • Use the Products to create or distribute viruses or to bypass copy protection or other digital rights management mechanisms.

5. Content and behaviour

5.1. Community rules and prohibited behaviour

These rules apply to everyone using Camex. “Content” includes text, sounds, audio, pictures, photos, videos and any other materials, information or communications shared through the Products.

Users must not:

  • Use the Products for illegal or unauthorised purposes, or in ways that damage, disable, overburden or impair them.
  • Transmit worms, viruses or other destructive or malicious code.
  • Display, transmit or share Content that Camex considers hateful, threatening, pornographic, obscene, abusive, racially or ethnically offensive, libellous or defamatory, or that depicts physical violence or encourages criminal conduct or conduct giving rise to civil liability.
  • Hack, destabilise or adapt the Website, its source code or the Services, or falsely imply that another website or service is affiliated with Camex.
  • Access the Products through any interface other than the one Camex provides or requires.
  • Use another person's photo as a profile picture, misrepresent their age, impersonate anyone or create a fake profile.
  • Engage in child abuse, prostitution, pornography, scams, consumption of illegal drugs or substances, or discrimination based on age, sex, gender, ethnicity, nationality, profession, political stance or religion.

Sharing photos, text, screenshots, videos or other communications may place their use beyond the sender's control. Information may become public through the sender's actions or those of other users. Camex may be unable to remove information that another user has copied and distributed.

Breaches of these community rules or other provisions of these Terms may result in account suspension or deactivation.

5.2. User Content

Each user is solely responsible for the Content they transmit or display through the Products. Users grant Camex an unconditional, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, transmit, publish, display, distribute or otherwise use that Content in connection with the Products and their promotion. A user may revoke this licence by deleting the Content from the Products. Revocation does not affect any use made before that deletion.

Personal contact or banking information about the user or anyone else must not be displayed in a profile or elsewhere on the Products. This includes home addresses, postcodes, telephone numbers, email addresses, URLs, card details and other banking details. Any disclosure of personal information to other users, by email or otherwise, is at the disclosing user's own risk.

Users who share Content protected by intellectual property rights represent and warrant that they own the Content or hold the rights needed to transmit, display, perform or adapt it. Each user is responsible for all royalties, fees and other amounts payable to anyone in connection with their Content.

User Content must not:

  • Infringe, violate or misappropriate another person's copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, moral, privacy, publicity or other intellectual property or proprietary rights.
  • Contain incorrect or misleading information.
  • Slander, defame or libel another person, or invade their privacy, publicity or property rights.

A breach may result in criminal or civil liability. Camex may immediately suspend or permanently terminate the account, or delete or make unavailable any or all of the relevant Content.

5.3. Content shared by others

Despite the community rules, other users may share inaccurate, misleading or electronically altered information, including details about their identity or appearance. Their Content may also infringe the rights of others. Camex does not endorse user Content.

6. User data and feedback

Camex processes and stores user data in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Carrier-delivered text messages (SMS) may be used solely to verify ownership of registered mobile numbers, as provided in that policy.

Camex will make reasonable efforts to store or otherwise retain user Content in connection with the Products.

Users may submit comments, suggestions or other feedback (“Feedback”) through the available feedback channels. Submission grants Camex an exclusive licence to all rights in the Feedback and permits its use for any commercial or other purpose without payment or attribution to the user or anyone else. Camex is not required to treat Feedback as confidential.

Submitting Feedback creates no rights in the Products or any changes, modifications or corrections to them. Users remain responsible for their submissions, including their legality, reliability, appropriateness, originality and copyright.

7. Premium Services, Paid Content and Loyalty Programme

7.1. Premium Services and Paid Content

Camex may offer additional features or services that users request and pay for (“Premium Services”), along with paid Content and items (“Paid Content”). Camex may, at its sole discretion, make these available free of charge during a trial period or otherwise. Unless expressly stated otherwise, references to the Services include Premium Services and Paid Content.

Purchases of Premium Services and Paid Content use paid diamonds purchased through the Website first. Free diamonds can be used only after all paid diamonds have been spent.

Camex may offer Premium Services and Paid Content by subscription, per use or on another basis specified at purchase. Payment may be required in advance, in arrears, per use or as otherwise stated at purchase.

Users agree to pay all charges to their accounts, including applicable taxes and transaction costs, under the billing terms in effect when payment is due. This includes charges collected through third-party payment services. The full and final price is displayed before purchase.

Users must comply with the terms and other legal agreements governing the relevant payment processor or payment method. Subscriptions do not renew automatically. Each subscription covers the period stated at purchase. Continuing access after that period requires a new purchase; no automatic renewal payment is charged.

Questions, issues, disagreements and disputes about purchases made through a third-party payment service are governed by that service's applicable terms or agreements. Camex accepts no responsibility for those matters. Users agree to indemnify and hold Camex harmless against related claims by the third-party payment service, even if a court or administrative agency determines that Camex is liable.

Camex may personalise prices based on factors such as location or payment channel.

7.2. Loyalty Programme

Use of the Website and Services automatically includes participation in the Camex Loyalty Programme. The programme rewards use of the Services under its own terms. Users receive reward updates through programme notifications and can view rewards in their accounts.

Loyalty Programme notifications relate only to rewards. Camex may change, amend or cancel the programme at any time at its sole discretion.

8. Third parties

8.1. Third-party technology

The Website may incorporate software or technology owned or controlled by third parties, or be incorporated into such technology. Third-party software or technology incorporated into the Website is covered by these Terms.

8.2. Third-party fees

On some Devices, Camex may request permission to use SMS messaging to send messages or invitations to non-users selected by the user. Any additional fees charged by those services are solely the user's responsibility and risk.

8.3. External websites, products and services

The Services may provide links or references to other websites or services for convenience (“Reference Sites”). Camex does not endorse Reference Sites. Accessing or using them, or their information, materials, products or services, is entirely at the user's own risk.

Correspondence and business dealings with advertisers found through the Products are solely between the user and the advertiser. Camex is neither a party to nor responsible for those agreements.

9. Termination

9.1. Termination by the user

Users may end their use of the Website and Services at any time by deleting their account.

9.2. Termination by Camex

Without limiting other remedies, Camex may immediately limit, suspend, discontinue or terminate these Terms, an account or access to any part of the Products, automatically and with or without notice, if it believes a user is or may be:

  • Breaching these Terms.
  • Causing or threatening to cause actual or potential legal liability for Camex.
  • Overdue in paying for Premium Services or Paid Content.
  • Infringing another person's intellectual property or personal rights, or breaching the licence restrictions in Section 4.3.
  • Engaging in prohibited behaviour under Section 5.1.

9.3. Effect of termination

When either party terminates an account for any reason, the user's licence to use the Services ends immediately, Premium Services end and Paid Content in the account is deleted. No refund is due for Paid Content or Premium Services associated with the account before termination.

10. Liability

Access to and use of the Products and Content is at the user's own risk. The Products are supplied “as is” and “as available”. Subject to the exceptions and mandatory legal protections below, Camex is not liable for damages arising from use of, inability to use or failures in the Products.

Where Camex is liable for an event, its liability is limited to direct damages. To the extent permitted by law, Camex excludes consequential, indirect and reputational damages, as well as loss, deletion, destruction or damage affecting a user's personal rights, data, personal data or Device.

Some jurisdictions restrict these exclusions or limitations. In those jurisdictions, liability is limited only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. These limitations also cover damage arising from third-party products or services obtained through or advertised on the Products.

The limitations do not apply to damage caused by Camex's wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

11. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Camex, its licensors and partners, and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors and suppliers against claims, actions, liability, damages and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising in connection with:

  • The user's breach of these Terms or any applicable law or regulation.
  • The user's violation of another person's rights.
  • The user's use or misuse of the Products.
  • The user's Content or other communications displayed or transmitted through the Products.

This indemnity applies even where a court, administrative agency or other dispute resolution or investigating body determines that Camex is liable or imposes a sanction on it.

As between Camex and any third-party platform used to access the Products, Camex is responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging claims that the Products or their use infringe intellectual property rights. Camex may take exclusive control of the defence of any matter covered by a user's indemnity, at that user's expense. Users agree to cooperate with the defence and must not settle any such matter without Camex's prior written consent.

12. Warranties

The Products are supplied “as is” and “as available”, without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Camex disclaims all express, implied, statutory and other warranties, terms and conditions. These include merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, satisfactory quality, correspondence with description, title, non-infringement and accuracy of generated information.

Camex does not warrant that the Products or Content will operate without interruption, errors, viruses or harmful components, or that any problems will be corrected. Camex makes no warranties or representations about the use of the Products or the results obtained from them.

Subject to Section 10 and applicable mandatory law, Camex and any third-party platform used to access the Products have no liability arising from their use. A user dissatisfied with the Website or Services may stop using them as their remedy. Neither Camex nor those platforms is obliged to provide maintenance or support.

13. General provisions

13.1. Device and connection errors

Camex does not guarantee compatibility between the Products and a user's Device. Camex is not responsible for loss or damage caused by faults, bugs or problems in a Device, browser, information system, access point or network; design, interface or linking errors; viruses; disconnections; power outages; or voltage fluctuations. This applies whether or not the loss was foreseeable or brought to Camex's attention.

13.2. Claims

A third-party platform used to access the Products is not responsible for addressing claims about the Products or their use, including product liability, non-compliance with legal or regulatory requirements, and claims under consumer protection or similar laws. This provision is subject to Section 10 and applicable law.

13.3. Basis of the agreement

Users acknowledge that Camex relies on the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations in these Terms when offering the Products and setting prices. These provisions reflect the parties' agreed allocation of risk and are an essential basis of the agreement. Without them, Camex could not provide the Products on an economically reasonable basis.

13.4. Notices

Camex may deliver notices by email, personal notifications through the Website or public notices posted on the Website. Camex may choose the form and method of notification. Users must keep their contact details accurate.

  • Email notices are deemed given twenty-four (24) hours after sending.
  • Personal Website notifications are deemed given when the user reads or views them.
  • Public Website notices are deemed given ten (10) days after first posting.

13.5. Amendments

Camex may amend these Terms at any time. Revised Terms will be published on the Website, with notice sent by email or Website notification. They take effect after the applicable notice period unless a user expressly accepts them earlier through an acceptance button, where available. Express acceptance or continued use after the applicable notice period constitutes agreement to the revised Terms.

13.6. Assignment

Users may not assign these Terms or any rights or obligations under them. Camex may, at its sole discretion, assign these Terms and its rights to a third party without prior notice. Users consent to such an assignment and may end their use of the Products by deleting their account if an assignment occurs.

13.7. Entire agreement and severability

These Terms and the policies they reference form the complete agreement on the matters they cover. Except for amendments made under Section 13.5, changes must be in writing and executed by both parties.

An unenforceable provision will be modified only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable, without affecting the remaining provisions. These Terms apply only as permitted by applicable law. A provision that is not permitted does not apply to the affected user; the other provisions remain effective.

13.8. Waiver

A failure to exercise or enforce a right or provision does not waive it. A waiver is effective only when made in writing and signed by Camex.

13.9. Headings

Headings are included for convenience. They do not form part of, limit or otherwise affect these Terms.

13.10. Injunctive relief

Users acknowledge that their obligations under these Terms are unique and irreplaceable, and that a breach may cause Camex irreparable harm that monetary compensation alone cannot remedy. Camex may seek an injunction or other equitable relief for an actual or anticipated breach without posting a bond or surety.

13.11. Applicable law

Irish law governs the interpretation and application of these Terms. Where a user acts as a consumer and mandatory consumer protection laws in their country of residence offer more favourable protection, those provisions apply regardless of this choice of law.

14. Effective date

These Terms of Service were last modified and take effect on September 16, 2026.

Questions about these Terms can be sent to [email protected].
